Hooking your P.C. up to your T.V. is very very cheap and easy, and all you need is a couple 3 dollar adapters or in some cases just a plug. There is 2 steps to hooking your P.C. up to your tevevision set. The first step is hooking up the video there is many different ways to do this and they are all listed below, you just have to determine which is best for you depending on your type of P.C. and television set. The second Step is hooking up the audio this is really simple and will be the same in 98% of all cases and you are not just limited to hooking up to a television set you can hook your P.C. up to any type of surround sound, or Stereo using this method. In doing any of this it is important to know that once you hook your P.C. up to your TV you will need to restart your computer in order for the tv to recognize it and display the video.

If you do not allready have some RCA's, you will need them no matter what kind of T.V. or P.C. you have, because this is how we are going to run the audio and in most cases the video to. Video is the yellow plug and audio is red, and white. You can split these up, they pull apart and in all reality they all 3 work the same.

If you do not all ready have one of these they are cheap and easy to find. S-video has become pretty common in the last couple of years. If you have an S-Video output on your P.C. and a S-Video Input on your T.V. then this you do not need anything else to run The video.

C3.

If you are hooking up through Hi Def then you might need a RGB cable unless you are using an adapter that allready has everything it needs. In most cases for hooking up to Hi Def you are going to use a VGA to RGB adapter if your adapter has female parts you will need this cord if not then you will not need it. They also make this cord in male to female if you need and extension to make it longer.

C4.

Newer T.V.'s have VGA imputs on the back panel of the T.V.! If you can run VGA from your computer to your T.V. then this will be all that you need to run the video and it will be one of the cheapest methods. Remember to restart your P.C. after connecting it to your Television.

This is cord is for running DVI to DVI and is most often used to hook up to newer T.V.'s through the video card of a computer.
